On-Line Research Tools
Welcome to the Wheaton Academy Library on-line databases. It is a privilege to provide our students home access to Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians, Pro-Quest and e-Library. Prior to using these databases, students are reminded to refer to their Student Handbook, pages 22-24, and/or WA Student Guide to Writing Across the Curriculum page 3 to review proper and ethical use of on-line materials. These three services provide students the opportunity to do considerable research from their homes computers. Some resources to consider as well:
Web Site Evaluations are also available for print out in order to aid you in determining the legitimacy of a web site.
Source Evaluations for research papers are available for print out in order to aid you in evaluating the source of your materials.
These sites are only for Wheaton Academy students and their immediate families! If you do not have the appropriate usernames and passwords for these sites, see the library staff at Wheaton Academy to receive them. Enjoy!
